How Much Protein Does The Body Need Per Day

How much protein your body need depends on your body weight. Your body needs approximately 0.8 grams of protein per kg which is 0.36 grams per pound. So a person wheying in at 70 kgs will need rougly 56 grams of protein per day. If you are trying to  build muscles then your body will need more protein.
So how much protein do I need to build muscle?
It is recommended that you eat between 1.2 grams and 1.7 grams of protein per kg, depending on how much activity you are actually doing.

Symptoms Of Eating Too Much Protein

When you eat too much protein your body will not be able to use it all which can lead to both weight gain but also increased stress on your liver and kidneys.
It can dehydrate you
Give you indigestion and diarrhea
Make you feel nauseas
Give you headaches and make you very irritable

It can also give you a variety of diseases such as

Diabetes
Cancer
Death

Everything in moderations is really key. It is also important to know that you do not need meat to give your body either protein or iron, the top two exscuses. There are plenty of healthier options for you out there. If you do workout a lot there are tons of good proteins for you to supplement with. Vegan athletes are a thing for sure and it is completely possible to have a ripped and healthy body from only eating vegetables.
