Review of Organic & Botanic Mandarin and Orange Corrective Facial Serum

Hi beauty lovers,

Christmas is upon us and it is the most ” wonderful time of the year”, or once could wish at least. This year has really been about doing the best with what is. Anyway, for about 3 weeks now I have been trying out the Mandarin Orange corrective face serum from Organic & Botanic and here are my thoughts on it.

I also want to say that this post is not sponsored in any way, shape or form, all these thoughts are my own.

cruelty-free?

vegan?

Organic & botanic - Mandarin orange correcting facial serum

Claims: “The Organic & Botanic Mandarin Orange Correcting Facial Serum has been formulated to revive and boost the skin, whilst counteracting visible skin damage caused by environmental stresses. Improved skin health and appearance can reduce visible signs of ageing for a younger look.”

Price: ≈ $ 8.99 on amazon and £16  through their website. They offer international shipping.

Size: 30 ml

Packaging: The box is made out of cardboard and the bottle is made out of glass, which makes them both a lot nicer to our environment. The serum comes out with a pipette.

First Impressions: Never judge a book by it´s cover. The packaging is very minimalistic. I do like the glass bottle with the pipette as it reduces germs as you do not have to touch the applicator and that I am a big fan of.

First Use: Apply it on washed and cleansed skin. It has a lovely fresh scent of citrus fruit but it is not over powering. It says that 3 drops should be used for your face, which I followed. The serums almost instantly absorbed into my skin and it left it feeling very healthy.

Final Thoughts

I have only used the product in the mornings as I have been very sloppy lately but I love the way this product makes my skin feel and look. With my work lately there has been a lot of testing people for the corona virus, I have had to wear masks etc. which has given me a few breakouts to say the least. This product seem to have calmed the areas down quite fast, I feel like it has evened out my skintone a bit but mostly it has made my skin look fresh. The serum is made to revive and boost your skin and that I can agree with, I am not sure that I have noticed a difference with my fine lines, perhaps a little underneath my eyes, I might need to use it longer to really notice a difference in that are, which I will.

Another issue that I always have with skin products is that they cause breakouts, this has worked in the complete opposite way. I have had no breakouts from this product and it has worked in a calming way for my skin.

I truly recommend this serum. I love it and I will keep using it and it is very likely that I will purchase another one. It is high up on my list to say the least.
